As part of a campaign to increase awareness of macular disease, the Macular Society have created Mac to tell their story.

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, over 600,000 people have the condition. Many people with macular degeneration cannot read, drive or recognise faces.

The Macular Society meets every third Monday of each new month, here at Walsall Society for the Blind.
